Vinny has worked in the Healthcare industry since 2005. His focus includes overall strategic planning, handling escalated issues, developing communication strategies, and customizing wellness/lifestyle solutions to his clients’ needs. Vinny holds a BA in business management from Hofstra University. A true student of the industry, Vinny has worked on clients with as little as 3 employees & up to 5,000 enrolled employees.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family as well as mentoring children at his former school.
Keisha joined Brio Benefits Consulting in 2020 as a Benefit Analyst bringing over a decade of experience in the Insurance Industry. In her prior life Keisha worked with in the consultant capacity with clients from a variety of industries including manufacturing, Financial Services and Private Equity Firms. In her current role, Keisha works closely with Clients and Strategy Managers to evaluate and meet the needs and goals of all involved. Keisha applies her strong analytical skills and statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful financial reports. Providing management planning and control information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing benefit data and trends helping clients to make better, more informed decisions.
Crista is the Senior Relationship Manager for Brio Retirement Solutions. Crista’s enthusiasm and extensive experience in the corporate retirement plan market serve as the building block in a process that results in customized solutions for plan sponsors and participants. Crista was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from George Fox University in Newberg, O.R. with a B.S and M.B.A. Crista has over 15 years of experience in the industry. Crista and her husband Gregg reside in Battle Ground, WA.
Ray is Brio’s Executive Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, and an integral part of the firm’s 401(k) and retirement division. Dubbed Brio’s “most interesting man in the world,” Ray joined Provident Life and Accident, following an NHL career. He left to start his own firm, The Lake Group, which later merged with Brio. A founding charter member and first chair of United Benefit Advisors, Ray has been published and quoted in many publications, including The New York Times, Employee Benefit News, Fortune, and others.
Jill joined Brio as a Client Relationship Manager in August of 2020. After attaining her BA from Villanova University, Jill worked several years in the television and advertising space. In 2014, she began her insurance career with AmeriHealth NJ as an Account Executive in the mid-size market. Wanting to expand her experiance and ability to connect to employees and members, Jill made the choice to explore the consultant side in 2018. She is excited to broaden her knowledge of both the industry and Brio’s innovative approach to benefits.
She enjoys traveling with family, discovering interesting films with friends, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. She currently resides in New York City with her new roommate Monty, an 8-year-old Yorkie.
Jordan started in the benefits industry at a national brokerage firm and joined Brio in the Spring of 2016. He began as a Benefits Analyst, working on large group accounts and was promoted to Strategy Manager in February of 2017 where he works with companies on their employee benefits strategy. The majority of Jordan’s clients have 100 or more employees, but he has experience working with companies of all sizes.
Liza graduated with a Risk Management and Insurance degree from the University of Georgia. She began her career in Dallas, TX working as an Account Manager for a national consulting firm. In August 2021, Liza moved to New York City to join the Brio Team as a Relationship Manager. She is passionate about working with and servicing clients to ensure they feel valued and supported. In her free time, she enjoys being active, traveling and exploring her new city with family and friends.
Matt is the Managing Director of Retirement Solutions for Brio. Matt’s enthusiasm and extensive experience in the corporate retirement plan market serve as the building blocks in a process that results in customized solutions for plan sponsors and participants.
Matt is a Smithtown, NY native. He graduated from the University of Scranton, in Scranton, P.A. with a B.S. in Marketing. Matt has over 19 years of experience in the industry. Matt along with his wife, Katie, and three children, Sean, Ellen, and Colin resides in Lincroft, NJ.
Pano started working at Brio in March of 2022 as a Strategy Manager. He started his benefits career by working for two of the three largest benefits consulting companies in the country prior to moving to Brio. He has experience working with small groups to companies up over 10,000 US benefits eligible employees. While his degree is in Sociology, Pano is energized by the health and benefits industry to help his clients find continued solutions in a shifting and complex landscape. Pano grew up in Northeast Ohio but now resides in Nassau county.
Not long after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Andrew joined the Brio team in late 2017.
Thrilled to be a member of Brio, he assists in organizing data, presentation building and client relations. He is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish and in his free time he enjoys playing the drums and checking out events around the city.
Chris graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Before starting his career in insurance, Chris worked in Wealth Management Operations and Retirement Plan Administration. Prior to Brio, Chris worked for a national benefits consultancy in Account Management where he grew his passion for helping clients administer their employee benefits packages. Chris joined the Brio team in September of 2022 as an Analyst. At Brio, he hopes to develop his knowledge and understanding of the insurance marketplace while continuing to serve clients.
Regina joined the Brio team in August of 2021 as a Client Relationship Manager. In this role, she provides tactical support based on the everchanging needs of her clients.
Prior to joining Brio, Regina began her career in the Healthcare industry in 2009 and has worked in a variety of roles, including work in the public sector and various HR roles. Regina also has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and is professionally trained in identifying and resolving issues related to employees and the workplace.
Mike has consulted in the small group benefits environment for over 30 years. He built his own firm 7 years ago with its primary focus on employers in the community-rated market and chose this population because he knew it was an underserved one. Mike’s passion has always been to empower employees to manage their health and well-being from a position of strength. His expertise is showing small employers how they can have a large-employer benefits look and feel to rise above their competition.
Tearany joined Brio on her birthday, filling the new role of the Implementation Project Manager. Tearany joins the Brio Team with over 12 years of experience in the industry ranging from call center/benefits administration, analytics, technology and over 6 years of Implementation Management. She has implemented groups from 100 lives to over 100,00 lives. Tearany’s focus as the Implementation Project Manager is to coordinate and deliver a timely, successful implementation between groups and vendors. Tearany’s passion for Implementation stems from the continuous momentum of daily activities and building lasting client relationships. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and pets! She also enjoys her time outdoors, planting flowers, spur of the moment adventures and helping her grandmother and her friends enjoy life and live their best lives.
Allie began her career in Connecticut’s small group marketplace supporting the sales team at Access Health CT after graduating from the University at Buffalo. In 2014, she grew her interest for employee benefits and healthcare at HealthPass NY, an exchange for small businesses, where she supervised the Account Management team.
After four years at HealthPass NY, Allie joined Brio Benefits where she’ll apply her expertise in working with the small group market and expand on her large group knowledge and the industry as a whole. In her spare time, she loves doing anything and everything active, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
As the Director of HR Technology at Brio, Lisa Johnson specializes in providing HCM technology expertise to our clients. Her area of focus is assisting our clients in the enhancement of their current technology or, if appropriate, matching them with the best technology solutions for their needs.
Lisa provides support to our clients from the discovery phase through post implementation where needed. Ms. Johnson brings more than a decade of extensive experience to Brio in benefits, payroll, HCM, and HR focusing on: staff management, recruiting, onboarding, 401K administration, benefit management and administration, and implementation and support of HCM systems.
A Co-founder and Partner at Brio Benefits. Rich is a native New Yorker who began a career in insurance at Cigna in 1999. After growing up in Queens Rich lives in NJ with his wife and 3 sons. Rich loves coaching his boys sports teams during his free time.
Austin is a graduate of The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at Pennsylvania State University. Upon graduation, he worked at Argyle Executive Forum as a Sales Development Representative. In February 2021, Austin joined the Brio team as a Retirement Services Coordinator. A native of Roslyn, New York, Austin now resides in Manhattan. He is passionate about working with individuals, helping them plan and meet their financial goals. Some of his hobbies include being an avid golfer, tennis player, and snowboarder. Austin also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Rocco graduated from University of Connecticut 2018 with Mathematics & Statistics degree. Post-graduation he joined a national benefit consultant as a benefit analyst. After four years he decided to take the leap and move out to New York to join Brio. At Brio Rocco works with the Strategy & Client Managers to bring the best strategies for the clients by analyzing the data and creating financial reports. Rocco enjoys spending his free time exploring the city and trying new restaurants with his friends.
Jacob graduated from the Love School of Business at Elon University with a degree in Marketing and Sales. Soon after graduating, Jacob joined the Brio team in June 2015. After spending two years as a Relationship Manager, Jacob transitioned into his current role as a Strategy Advisor. He is passionate about his role in helping employers create innovative benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. Jacob currently lives in Long Island City with his wife and their dog.
Greg has worked in the employee benefits industry for nearly ten years. He has held various roles in the industry, giving him unique insights into the healthcare insurance industry. He has experience working with complex organizations that require tailored programs to include alternative funding strategies. Greg joined Brio to focus on developing long-term strategies and solutions for our middle to large-market clients. Greg holds a BS in Integrated Marketing and Communications from Fairfield University.
In his free time, Greg performs standup comedy at local Manhattan comedy clubs, and enjoys playing guitar, but spends the majority of his time with his dog, Benson.
A co-founder and partner at Brio Benefits, Jason has spent over 20 years in the industry. He began his career in sales at Oxford Health Plans followed by 6 years at CIGNA before starting Brio. He is passionate in his pursuit of an extraordinary benefit consulting experience measured by his client’s success, satisfacation and results. He resides in NYC with his wife, 2 teenage children and their French Bulldog named Ferguson. Jason has committed much of his time to supporting organizations for Autism, and diversity and inclusion. His above commitment is only rivaled by his love for homemade chicken cutlets and dem Cowboys!
Neil is a strategy advisor specializing in the mid-size market and has been in the Healthcare Industry since 2009. After graduating with a Degree in Business Management & Finance from Brooklyn College, Neil worked in various areas of the Pharmaceutical Industry, ran a startup business, and took part in a number of business initiatives before eventually joining Brio Benefits in 2013.
He has brought his unique skillset of large corporate and small business management to his clients and loves every aspect of his role in making a lasting impact on some of the country’s best employers and their staff. Neil now resides in NJ with his wife and their two amazing sons, Sebastian and Jordan.
Kevin began his benefits career at CIGNA upon discharge from the Army in 1997. After roles in customer service and underwriting, he served in management roles within both sales and operations. Kevin’s most recent position at Cigna was VP of Sales and Account Services in the 250-5,000 employee segment. In total spending around 18 years with the enterprise.
A Bronze Star Medal recipient, Kevin remains active in charities which support Iraq and Afghanistan combat veterans in the NYC area.
Janine is a graduate of Seton Hall University where she earned a BS in Marketing and a Masters in Finance. Upon graduation, she began her career as a marketing professional in the Beauty industry. She worked in various roles for several top companies including Coty and L’Oreal. She joined the Brio team in 2012 where she currently oversees the day to day finances. A native of Staten Island, NY, Janine now resides on Long Island with her husband, Tiziano, and twin boys, Luigi and Anthony.
Kevin joined Brio as a Client Relationship Manager in December of 2021. After attaining his degree from Wagner College, Kevin worked several years on the carrier side of the insurance industry in the large and mid-size market. Wanting to expand his ability to help others, Kevin made the choice to explore the consultant side in 2021. He is excited to expand upon his knowledge of both the industry and Brio’s innovative approach to benefits.
As the newest member of Brio, Leslie joined the team in May of 2022. In her previous career, Leslie worked in the Retail Industry, serving in many different capacities over the years, leading her into Retail Management and eventually into her most recent role as a Human Resource Manager.
In her role as a Client Relationship Manager, her 12 years of experience in the HR world will provide another perspective having worked with the Brio team from the client side.
In her spare time Leslie loves spending time with her 2 Nieces, enjoying the outdoors, traveling with friends and loving on her 16 year old best friend, her dog Kane.
Mark has over 25 years of healthcare experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing, health plans, care management services and pharmacy benefit management (PBM). This broad understanding of the healthcare continuum allows Mark to understand how currently siloed services can work together to provide clients with comprehensive solutions to lower costs and improve health outcomes.
Mark holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD; and resides at the NJ shore with his family.
