A co-founder and partner at Brio Benefits, Rich is a native New Yorker who began a career in insurance at Cigna in 1999. In Rich's free time he enjoys volunteering on the Board of Directors for "A Caring Hand", which aims to help families cope with the death of a family member. After growing up in Queens Rich currently lives with his wife and 2 sons in New Jersey.
A co-founder and partner at Brio Benefits, Jason has spent over 20 years in the industry. In his free time Jason volunteers on the Board of Directors at "The Tower of Hope", a non-profit helping special needs individuals lead more independent live. Jason has committed much of his time to helping organizations involved with Autism and Special needs children.
Chief Business Officer
Kevin began his benefits career at CIGNA upon discharge from the Army in 1997. After roles in customer service and underwriting, he served in management roles within both sales and operations. Kevin's most recent position at Cigna was VP of Sales and Account Services in the 250-5,000 employee segment. In total spending around 18 years with the enterprise.
A Bronze Star Medal recipient, Kevin remains active in charities which support Iraq and Afghanistan combat veterans in the NYC area.
Executive Vice President
Executive Vice President and lead of our 401(k) and retirement division, Raymond has been dubbed at Brio "the most interesting man in the world". After a career in the NHL Ray began working at Provident Life and Accident. He then went on to begin his own firm, The Lake Group, which he ran until joining the Brio team. Ray was a charter member of the United Benefits Advisors, has been published and quoted in many magazines including The New York Times, Employee Benefit News, Fortune and many others.

VP of Client Relations
Vinny has worked in the Healthcare industry since 2005. He started his career at a not-for-profit healthcare administrator in NYC as a broker representative. After six years there he decided to make a move to the Brio team. His role includes overall strategic planning , handling escalated issues, and assistance with developing communication, wellness, and lifestyle solutions for his clients. A true student of the industry, Vinny has worked on clients with as little as 3 employees & up to 5,000 employees. He is currently working on obtaining his certification as an employee benefit specialist. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughter as well as mentoring children at his former school.
Neil is a strategy advisor specializing in the mid-size market and has been in the Healthcare Industry since 2009.
After graduating with a Degree in Business Management & Finance from Brooklyn College, Neil worked in various areas of the Pharmaceutical Industry, ran a startup business, and took part in a number of business initiatives before eventually joining Brio Benefits in 2013.
He has brought his unique skillset of large corporate and small business management to his clients and loves every aspect of his role in making a lasting impact on some of the country’s best employers and their staff.
Neil now resides in NJ with his wife and their two amazing sons, Sebastian and Jordan.
After graduating from the University at Buffalo, Jordan joined Arthur J. Gallagher as a Benefits Analyst. He worked on large group accounts between 100 and 20,000 lives, supporting account managers.
Jordan joined Brio in the Spring of 2016 as a Benefits Analyst, working on large group accounts. He was promoted to Strategy Manager in February of 2017 where he works with companies on their employee benefits strategy. The majority of Jordan’s clients are in the mid-size market with fifty to five hundred employees but he has experience working with companies of all sizes.
Ron is a native of NJ who currently resides in NY with his 4 Lb Chihuahua, Rocky. Ron has more than 30 years experience in the employee benefits industry. Prior to joining Brio, he ran his own agency in Springfield NJ. Ron has spent time with several large companies, including Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NJ, and Metlife. Ron is a 1980 graduate of the NYU School of Business.
When not working, Ron is an avid golfer and amateur photographer
Jennifer excitedly joined our team in May 2017. She has 20 years of experience in the insurance industry working in Group Sales Support, Underwriting, and Service roles for Highmark Life, The Standard Life of NY and CIGNA International. For six years of her career, she had the opportunity to work with insureds of various medical plans, which lends to her compassion for the human aspect of the importance and impact of choosing the right benefits. Her passion for the employee benefits industry led her to obtain the CEBS Designation. Jennifer is very eager to apply her experience and dedication to the clients of Brio Benefits Consulting.
Madeline is a proud Penn State graduate and holds a BS in Economics and minor in International Business. Prior to joining Brio, Madeline was an Associate at Mercer where she advised on renewal strategies, annual budgeting and compliance needs for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. She also has held account management and sales roles at PreferredOne, a regional medical carrier in Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for a local NY animal shelter.
Janine is a graduate of Seton Hall University where she earned a BS in Marketing and a Masters in Finance. Upon graduation, she began her career as a marketing professional in the Beauty industry. She worked in various roles for several top companies including Coty and L’Oreal. She joined the Brio team in 2012 where she currently oversees the day to day finances.
A native of Staten Island, NY, Janine now resides on Long Island with her husband, Tiziano, and twin boys, Luigi and Anthony.
Jacob graduated from the Love School of Business at Elon University, with a degree in Marketing and Sales. Soon after graduating, Jacob joined the Brio team as a Relationship Manager. After spending two years in that role, Jacob transitioned into his current role as a Strategy Advisor. He is passionate about his role helping employers to create benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. Jacob now lives in Long Island City with his wife.
Zach graduated from the University at Buffalo with a degree in Mathematics. Soon after, Zach joined a national consulting firm as a Benefits Analyst. Zach spent 2 years in this role before joining Brio in January of 2017. He assists the team with plan RFP’s, financial reports, benchmarking, and strategy meetings. Zach is Advanced Self-Funding certified through the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) with expertise in financial projections, claims analysis and marketing strategies
As the Director of HR Technology at Brio Benefits, Lisa Johnson specializes in providing HR technology expertise to our clients. Her area of focus is assisting our clients in the enhancement of their current technology or, if appropriate, matching them with the best technology solutions for their needs.
Lisa provides support to our clients from the discovery phase through post implementation where needed. Ms. Johnson brings more than a decade of extensive experience to Brio Benefits in benefits, payroll, HRIS, and HR focusing on: staff management, sourcing and recruiting, on boarding, 401K administration, and implementation of HRIS systems.
Aurora joined Brio as a Relationship Manager in January of 2019. Prior to joining Brio, Aurora spent nine years with the U.S. Department of Labor, where she worked to increase the public’s awareness and understanding of ERISA and related laws. During her career at DOL, Aurora coordinated compliance assistance events to help employers, brokers, and carriers comply with the law, and informally resolved ERISA-related issues and benefit disputes.
Aurora holds a BA in Politics from the Catholic University of America, and an MPA with a concentration in Health Policy from George Washington University. In her free time, Aurora is an avid runner and fitness enthusiast, and loves spending time with her family and friends in New Jersey.
Client Solutions Manager
Allie began her career in Connecticut’s small group marketplace supporting the sales team at Access Health CT after graduating from the University at Buffalo. In 2014, she grew her interest for employee benefits and healthcare at HealthPass NY, an exchange for small businesses, where she supervised the Account Management team.
After four years at HealthPass NY, Allie joined Brio Benefits where she’ll apply her expertise in working with the small group market and expand on her large group knowledge and the industry as a whole. In her spare time, she loves doing anything and everything active, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
Gui started his career in employee benefits as a medical underwriter at Cigna. Until recently, he was a senior account consultant for a leading gap funding vendor in the country. Where he helped employers save over 10 million dollars in medical spending.
He joined Brio with a passion to help the Asian business community to leverage employee benefit to empower them to make informed decisions through education while attracting and retaining the best talent.
Kelly graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Healthcare Management. She began her career at Alight Solutions as a Dedicated Client Specialist assigned to a large market client. In her role, she handled employee escalations, operations, and annual enrollment.
Kelly joined Brio Benefits in January 2019 and is excited to contribute to the team as a Benefits Analyst. In this role she will take advantage of her background focus on financial exhibits, plan marketing, data analytics, and experience reporting. In her free time she likes to explore the city with friends.
Not long after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Andrew joined the Brio team in late 2017.
Thrilled to be a member of Brio, he assists in organizing data, presentation building and client relations. He is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish and in his free time he enjoys playing the drums and checking out events around the city.
